As of August 8th, the Get the Message Campaign coordinated by the Healthy Caribbean Coalition has received just under 230,000 text messages of support.
To put this total in perspective, this figure is higher than the individual population estimate of 11 Caribbean countries participating in the campaign.
It is anticipate this figure will increase as the campaign will be conducting a "Text-a-Thon" across several Caribbean radio stations on Wednesday August 24th and Saturday August 27th.
